Refund / Return Policy
We want you to love everything you order from Layrd —but if not, here’s how returns work.
Return Eligibility
- Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- To qualify for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be unused and in their original condition
- Include all original packaging, labels, and protective materials
- Be accompanied by the order number or proof of purchase
- Be approved via email prior to return shipping
- Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
- All items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom or personalized items
- Final Sale items, or items purchased with promotional discounts
- Items showing signs of use, wear, stains, or damage
- Return requests made after the 7-day period
- International orders (We currently only ship within the U.S.)
Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged, please notify us at layrd@s-daze.com within 24 hours of delivery, and include:
- Clear photos showing the damage
- Images of the full item and its packaging
- Your name and order number
All original packaging and components must be retained. Approved cases may be eligible for a refund or replacement.
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours with the required documentation listed above.
Claims made after this period may not be eligible for resolution.
Please note that for orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada, we only offer refunds — not replacements — for damaged or incorrect items.
**Shipping-related damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.**
Please note that Layrd is not responsible for damages caused during transit.
We may assist in filing a claim with the shipping carrier if necessary, but resolution is subject to the carrier's policies.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges.
If you would like to receive a different item, please complete a return (if eligible) and place a new order separately.
For orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada, only refunds are available for approved returns.
Lost or Incorrect Deliveries
- If an incorrect address was provided at checkout, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees for reshipment.
- If a package is lost in transit, customers are asked to file a claim directly with USPS or UPS.
- Layrd is not responsible for delayed or missing packages once tracking has been issued.
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original form of payment only.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer in cases of buyer’s remorse or incorrect ordering.
- Returned items must be in their original, unused condition with all original packaging included.
Each product is shipped with a transparent "Thank You" sticker as part of its original packaging.
Items returned without this sticker will be considered used and will not be eligible for a refund. - Items returned in a condition that does not meet our return standards may be subject to partial refund or sent back to the customer.
- If a discount code was applied at checkout, the refund will reflect the actual amount paid, not the original product price.
Discount codes cannot be reissued or reused once the order is refunded. - If your order originally qualified for free shipping, but the return causes the remaining order value to fall below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Once your return is processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
Please note that refunds may take several business days to appear on your account, depending on your card issuer’s processing times.
Returns that do not meet all of the above conditions will not be processed. We reserve the right to deny any return that does not comply with our return policy.
Notice Acknowledgement
By completing a purchase, customers acknowledge that they have read and agreed to all product-related notices and care instructions provided on our website, including the Privacy Policy and Product Notice.
Requests for returns or refunds based on product characteristics already disclosed — such as natural variations in material, surface texture, shape, color tone, or production process — may not be accepted.
Customer Responsibility
- Layrd is not responsible for damages resulting from improper use, cleaning, or storage.
- Please follow the care instructions provided with each product.
- Due to differences in lighting and screen settings, actual product colors may appear slightly different from what is shown online. This is not considered a defect and is not eligible for return or refund.
- If a return is requested for a product sold as part of a set, we may assess whether a partial refund or individual replacement is appropriate based on the case. Full replacement of the entire set is not guaranteed.
